The Site Configuration Wizard is one of the first things you should run after you’ve added a site to the software.
The first panel you’ll see is Your Business, where you can select up to 4 search engines to check keyword rankings across. For example, you can check your rankings in Google.co.uk, Google.com, Yahoo.co.uk and Bing.co.uk; or Google.de, Google.fr, Google.es and Google.co.uk.
Select your Primary Market (are you trying for an audience all across the world or in just one particular country?). Your link prospects will be based on this target market.
Select the search engines you want to focus on. As explained above, you can add up to four; just click ‘Add another’.
Note that it is vital to keep clicking ‘Next’ until you see ‘Done!’ when using the Site Configuration Wizard. To finish, make sure you click ‘Done!’ so that your changes are saved.
